WYMONDHAM COLLEGE

The Sixth Form at Wymondham College aims to provide everything you will need to take  you on to the next stage of your life, whilst giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to the College community.  Based in the newly extended Lincoln Sixth Form Centre, all Sixth Formers enjoy an environment which is more akin to a university college than a school sixth form but which is underpinned by Wymondham College's traditional standards, sense of community and care for the individual. Housing around 440 day and boarding students, and with a wide range of teaching and support staff, Lincoln is clearly a very busy and vibrant community. As you will see in the pages that follow, there are numerous opportunities for students to broaden their academic and extracurricular experiences and all are encouraged to do so. 
 
Many Wymondham College students choose to remain here after completing GCSEs but an equal number join the Sixth Form from other schools both locally and further afield. Our broad and diverse intake adds a real sense of the wider community along with an international flavour, which in turn creates a richness of experience and contributes greatly to the sense of preparation for life. With over 200 boarders across the two year groups, Lincoln boarding life can be immense fun, and friendships made here will be ones to last a lifetime. Its not all play though. Success, and the hard work needed to achieve It, are highly respected and students are supported by a strong academic and pastoral team to help them develop into confident and enthusiastic young adults. It is an immense pleasure and privilege to work with such an inspiring group of students and staff.
