The English Department had Andrew Sinclair, a BBC News Political Correspondent, come in to speak to some Year 7 and 8s about life as a journalist to inspire them for the BBC Schools News Report. Students will be researching, filming and editing their own news report in preparation for the BBC Schools day on the 16th March. Best quote of the afternoon in response to the question from Andrew Sinclair on what it takes to be a good journalist. A year 7 replied 'The ability to make a good cup of coffee!'
